Default New setup ready for some testing...... FINALLY!

Figured I would throw up a couple pics of my new car/setup. I don't really have a lot of detailed pics so I'm not gonna do a detailed build thread. I will just post up the cool stuff (IMO). I came from the C6 section where I was one of the first to prove the potential of the UPP kit. Anyways I am very familiar with boosted applications in all sorts of platforms, been building this for about 9 months now so needless to say Im ready for some seat time!

Originally wasn't going to go quite so hardcore race car, but thats kinda what I ended up with
BTW this car WILL see plenty of street miles, I have every intention of driving it around town just no long distance trips with no overdrive!

Very happy with how the look of the car turned out....parachute will be getting mounted next week

I have more pics of misc. stuff along the way but these are the main pieces of the puzzle!

Helmet is just for size reference LOL

I will be doing some engine bay clean up shortly as well. It's all a little jumbled up right now...

A little drivetrain ****

Painted front wheel lip to match closer to rears with the beadlock, plus I'm not too big on shiny stuff!

Installed this in the glove box, Boost/Pulse leash controller should be interesting to get this thing dialed in.

Who is going to tune it?
Is all the exhaust going out the front or do you have that on a cutout?

You going to be able to out run Howards hatch with this??

Any details on how you mounted that shifter?

I'm tuning it myself. Ed Hutchins helped me with my C6 a little and I learned how to tune with that car and I've since done a little tuning on the side. I had it running a couple months ago before changing plans with the trans setup. It made 650whp on 5 psi thru the 4l60.
The exhaust dumps out both sides of the bumper it y 's under the turbo to exit out each side. Another upside to a turbo setup, it's not loud even when dumped with no mufflers!

If we stick to an 1/8 mile track maybe lol but I can't compete with 175+mph trap speeds, yet....

I made some heavy duty L brackets that I bolted thru the side of the tunnel from inside the cabin.

You'll get there man. That's a setup most of us dream on having!

Any chance of having pics of how you did the shifter and which one it is. I'm taking out my TR6060 and going auto. The stock shifter isn't gonna make the cut. I want something that looks mean.

Thank ya sir, that shifter is the B&M Pro Bandit specifically for a powerglide setup. You could just give them a call with your trans setup and they will give you part numbers for the shifters that will work with it. I will try to snap a few pics when I put the console back in here in the next couple days tho.

Have I met you before ?

Thanks man.

I haven't met you, but I've been to RLZ back in the day when I was into Honda's. I worked at Freemans in Gastonia, but started after Howard left. Hung around with Levi and Robin (Charlie Chan).

Good stuff

With the RPM rear mounting bracket, did you space the tunnel plate down?
