RPM's are the problem here.....not enough of them. Strokers suck unless your delivering concrete or something. Needs more compression, more octane, more rpm's, less stroke.

Then how come all the big dog C5's and C6's at all the invitationals, tracks, and TX2K events are strokers?

His problem has nothing to do with his motor being a stroker...

I think Blow Torch was saying he ended up making 700 w P1, not that he started from there.

Lol@Josh and Steve with the stroker/F1 hate.. We all know that this is not the OPs issue.

OP, just start going over everything real well. I agree it should have been spun higher to see where the power peaked at and how much boost it made there.. I also agree it should make more then 700hp on 15 psi/14* on a 414.. Probably should have been like 775-800rwhp at that point..(6100). So something is eating up power... Do you have cats on it? What cat back is on it?

Possibilities are: Something is restricted on the exhaust side, which will show more boost psi and less power, you could be getting hellacious KR (which is my guess since you have 15 psi boost and no meth), maybe a cylinder is not sealing as well as the others..

Could be any one of 100 things.. Just have to start weeding them out. The parts combo is good and should easily make 850+hp.. Just have to iron the kinks out. More info/data logs would help us help you.

After re-reading, 91 octane and no meth with 15 psi is not good. Your IATs are probably sky high as is your KR. I'd try to get the HPT logs and go from there. You may have 14* timing but the KR could pull it back 5-6* easily killing 60-70hp or more...

Lastly, 9-1 compression isn't helping your HP cause.. You're gonna need more boost to make similar power to an engine with 10.0-1 compression.

Get some logs or better yet screen shots of the logs and post them up here.

[QUOTE=Y2KRoadster;1587921453]Details on setup? I have never heard of a stock cube motor going 700 on 10 psi with no meth...especially from a P1. What did you trap? Your tuner was disappointed in those numbers? LOL. So, then you added timing/meth and went up to 900whp on a P1 at a couple pounds over 10 psi?

No offense dude but...what you just said is not possible...

You need to re-read before you type.
I was at 700 (702) with a stock motor and 10lbs of boost (period, stop right there.:lol)
It is in past tense, since I now have a new motor with bigger cam and more boost, but no dyno yet.
The next part of the post deals with the tuning. I installed the blower and took it to a tuner and got a little over 500rwhp. I then "re-tuned" it myself with the tuning school help (same setup) and got 630+. (no meth) I THEN added meth and a little more timing and boost and got 702rwhp.

Meth and retune Friday and it was only 10 pounds but I guess the spinning was causing it to make more and lean out. Anyway I'll post up some new numbers Friday. Going up to a true 15 pounds with meth

If your timing is at 8 (like mine was) and you can bump it to 15 like we did (now at 17) and your AFR is at 10.2 and you move it to 11.2, and VERY important, make sure you aren't pulling what small amount of timing you have with the IAT timing retard table (removes timing at certain temps). Mine was pulling timing at 105*
