Was wondering if any of you could point me In the right direction for a nice replacement hood for my Z06. I plan on getting the TVS Maggie s/c and it obviously won't fit under my stock hood. My vette is the commemorative edition, so id want to have the stripes put back on whatever hood I have. Any carbon fiber ones out there or does anyone have a commemorative edition with a different hood? Thanks! Ryan

I was in the same boat. Almost pulled the trigger then went with nitrous. The VIS carbon fiber cowl hood is your best bet. I was going to get it.

I never thought to put a price onnit. But it is doing nothing but taking up space. Not sure if it fits the newer magnuson. You local to long island?

don't remember if the MCM is tall enough. if it is, you'd still have to notch the rear to clear the pulley. i got the Kenne Bell hood from TPE in las vegas. clears my tvs2300 without cutting & the hood lines are pretty close to stock - just taller.

the edges will most likely take some fiberglassing to get to line up real good with the fenders & front fascia, though... but then again, most aftermarket hoods will.
