Default Pulley size change on a Maggie

I have a 3.1 pulley on my Maggie now. I want a few more HP. I'm at 505 now, 7 lbs boost. What can I expect with a 2.9"? How much shorter belt do I need? Is a new tune needed?

I would retune on any pulley chg on the car. Just a guess on hp # just a lot up to the tuner how good he is.

i'd expect about 9psi, and assuming the tensioner ain't at its max travel now, you should be fine. my 2.9 belt still works with my 3.3

depending on the tune, you might pick up another 30hp with +2psi

I talked with my tuner. He said the tune is fine. I guessed the current belt will work. It's only .10" radius change. My tensioner has an extreme amount of tension.

Thanks.
