What is this advice you speak of? I need all I can get and have drained Jay's brain for months (I didn't know he had any left to give out)

Hope to run into you and see the car in person at some point. It looks great in pics and numbers

P.S. as for breaking parts

He's been doing this a long time now, so without even knowing what he said I'll say take his advice.

Probably not much different then what we spoke about on Saturday, "keep it fun". Same reason why I was being persistent on NOT upgrading your head unit.

Now comes what I think is the fun part of the build, when you stop throwing power at the car to go faster, but instead you fine tune everything to maximize every ounce you have. In your case that may mean detuning certain area's to actually ET faster, or simply get it down the track.

We have a rental early Nov if your ready and interested.

LOL..

The parts breakage is definitely coming...

I've popped 2 trannies(stick trannies) and 3 rear ends in less then 20 passes....And I haven't even ran it on "kill" yet... Oh it kills alright...

When I installed the power glide in my car it was the 13th transmission to go in it. The 4l60 has come a long way since then though.

Paul, car is looking great. I'm hoping you see those 8's in Nov

So, how the heck did you get to a car show last weekend? Car partially running? Two cars? Or, was I hallucinating (it happens)
