Let's throw some more numbers at it.
Novi 1500 is rated at 1200cfm?
This is 85.2 lb/min using 0.071 lbs per cfm.
This should be enough air for 852 crank horsepower and your average vette loses 50 horsepower via drive line losses.
On paper, you should be able to get close. How may rpms are you planning to spin the blower and what rpm is your car making peak power?

How's it going tg I'm a big fan of your car and threads , its going to spin too 6700 , its a totally new build , I'm actually thinking of trading in my unused 1500 and trading up for a sl2200. Thoughts?

wow , thats awesome , i think i might upgrade to ysi while the car is down its only a 500 dollar upgrage , the motor is fully forged

As you know, the 2200 will make it and give you room to grow. You should figure out your ultimate goal and buy the appropriate head unit even if you have to run a restrictor plate for now.

my ultimate goal is 1000rwhp, ive considered a 2000 but was told to get a 2200 instead
