Started the meth install today while I wait for an updated fuel system from ECS.
Fender removed, washer tank removed and modified. I have to find an angled pair of needle nose pliers to tighten the fitting down more. Also I didn't know you lose your wiper spray pump...
On my first start up and anytime I had power to the vehicle I would receive a "Service Column Lock" message on the DIC. I have the LMC5 installed so I was puzzled and looked the issue up. There was another member that had the issue caused by the ground that becomes visible once the washer tank is removed, so while I was there I cleaned it up.
For good measure I also cleaned up the ground on the front drive/passenger side near head lights too.
I reconnected the negative and put the key in...NO SERVICE COLUMN MESSAGE

I hope the C6's get to keep the washer pump.. I know you have to drill a separate hole in the bottom of the tank for those kits, so I hope I'll get to keep it, even if I try not to use it since meth will take wax/sealant right off.
I didn't realize you had a lift.. that's cheating
I'm pulling my torque tube/clutch out tomorrow, something is not right.. so after I get that figured out I'll be doing the install on mine. Also ordering a new LS3 style intercooler-->TB tube so I can use a newer MAF.
What's next on yours?

best $2000 mod to my garage I've ever made. It def feels like cheating!
Nice! Good luck, I hope you find what is causing you the issues. Also its nice that you can stay MAF pretty easily.
Finish the meth install, then its on to the ECS fuel system. Once those are done I need to install my gauges and head to the dyno! Oh and the snow needs to melt

I finished the tank modification and tested it, no leaks Then the alky pump was installed and ground tested. I will have to modify (slightly) the plastic cover piece that goes under the pump as its just barely touching.
Test fitting tank, the 90* into the hose just barely touches the fender liner, but not enough for me to worry about.
I wrapped the lines from the pump to the nozzle with painless wiring wraps. Black hoses are better, and I hope to cut down on any issues with rubbing on other hoses.

if you want to keep your windshield washer sprayers just don't plug up the tank with the fitting alkycontrol supplies and you can use meth to clean the windshield, windshield washer fluid contains meth anyway and it shouldn't harm anything

yep that's about it, shouldn't harm your paint or anything... like I said there is already methanol in washer fluid just not 100% obviously... I never drive mine in bad weather anyway so I wasn't really worried about it and removed my washer pump
