Default water methanol injection question

I am looking to add this to my setup, which is 2003 Z06 with LG longtubes, high flow cat's, corsa indy exhaust, ECS Novi 1500 S/C kit...the motor its self inside is other wise still stock, I am curious as if a water methanol injection kit will be beneficial for me, as I doubt I will do any 1/4 drag racing, and maybe this next summer I will do some autocross..but that is about it..

thank you
Ryan

It won't hurt, you can tune it for more power or for an extra margin of safety. I have a stock engine and mine is tuned for safety. Most here use it for extra power and too lower IATs.

I run 50/50 water meth. Engine is tuned without the meth because I use it for safety. I just feel better when my boost light comes on knowing my intake temperature is lowered. At an idle, if I manually activate the meth, you can feel the throttle body get cold. Rod

wow that is crazy , I have read a great deal on the kits and I have narrowed it down to 2 kits based on price of course, that is what I am going to do as well is mostly for the safety net...any more input from anyone would be greatly helpfull

I recommend the Alky Control kit.

Alky Control for sure. Julio has tons of knowledge on meth and builds the best kit I believe. Plus he's always available to help out if you have any questions. I've talked to him a couple of times on the phone and he helped me out a lot. Like some of the others on here mine is just for insurance and to help lower the IAT's during the summer here in Texas.
