Default Control arm bushings

What are you guys doing for rear control arm bushings? Mine are shot and I dont know if there is a better option than a Prothane kit. Dont want the thing squeeking. I thought Pfadt had a kit that was reasonable, but since they are out of business Im not sure what to do.

I just did a rear kit from vette brakes and products. I used marine grease on the bushing shafts and made sure to grease the outer end faces of the bushing so they wont squeak during movement. I had one upper that wanted to squeek. I put a little grease on the ends and it stopped. Not a fun job to do. I got a small table top press at harbor freaight to press the old bushings out.

I have been usingthe VBandP front/rear/shock/control arm bushings as well.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE. of course, the car doesn't wanna roll very well right after since the alignment is all out of wack for the factory compensating for rubber bushings.

Good mod. I used the grease that came with the kit,...I didn't notice any noise related to that when It was driving. Car is apart right now unfortunately.

Do the spherical bushings make any noise like in how they do in mustangs? Every buddy I have that has had those(in a mustang) make some funky, clackity clack noises. Any noises in with pfadt or LG's? I haven't worked with either setup, just curious.

When I went spherical bearings the motor & trans mounts were also switched to solid, so I don't know if the spherical bearings made any noise/vibration by themselves.

I went with the vb&p bushings. I wish I had the funds and could justify the lg, but at the end of the day this is just my street car that goes to the track a few times a year.

Yea, makes sense. Tough to say.
