Default Is it time for a catch can, or is this something else?

Spotted some oil seepage under the intake side of my blower. Removed the piping and there was a tiny puddle in front of the impellers. The silicone coupler that attaches the intake tube to the blower also had some residue. No shaft play or anything. The hose that goes from the oil cap to intake elbow has some signs of oil near the fitting, but nothing significant.

A&A SI V1 with a 3.6 pulley.

Oil residue along outside bottom of blower.

Intake tube with traces of oil near fitting.

Coupler.

you can put a catch can in between the line going from your passenger valve cover or oil cap (however you have it set up) to the air filter on the blower inlet... if you want to totally eliminate any chance of oil entering the intake you can remove the pcv system, eliminate the line from the valve cover to air filter, and vent the crankcase to atmosphere via a breather can

Thanks. I ordered a catch can tonight. I hope that will get rid of the oil.

Also not a bad idea to add an oil separator....

Mighty Mouse Solutions for any forced induction setup. Look them up and you'll see why.
