Blower cam recommendations?
Have a 98 ls1 that I'm about to install a A&A si trim on along with a cam kit. I've talked to Andy about there blower cams anyone ever run there stage 2 or 3 blower cam?
I like a aggressive cam and one that has a choppy idle. As long as it's streetable I'm fine with it. I have a 6 speed also. There are tons of cam kits out there what are some of the proven platforms? I'm shooting for 550-600whp on 93 octane.

MVP Zo6 your car sounds awesome. This is the kind of idle I'm looking for. Was this with a 346 motor or 383? I see on there website they recommend there stage 4 cam for bigger cube motors. And I see the stage 3 is recommed for the 346 with a healthy idle.

MVP Z06 about what hp were you at in that video? Sounds awesome! Answers my question about sound of Ti exhaust in another thread. To op sorry to hijack thread, for the record my custom sc cam in my 383 from SDPC is 230/236 116 lsa and has plenty of lope.

The engine combo with the A&A stage 4 Cam was 383 cubic inches at that time and it made about 700 at the wheels. It was a little low on the static compression ratio. It was a 9.0 : 1 engine. That was through the same exhaust I currently have. Looks 1 7/8 long tubes kooks catless x pipe and factory titanium exhaust. It would probably sound a little more radicle on a 346 cid engine.
@ forced. Here's an even more aggressive cam we will call it the "Big Cam" with a lot more engine. 9.5 : 1 403 cid engine with a YSi Same car and same exact exhaust.
Here's the cam card for the "big cam"
Here's an idle video for the big cam.

She don't sound that radicle anymore but a certain race shop talked me into pulling that big ole bumpstick and put a different cam in. He plugged numbers into engine analyzer pro and gave me a cam spec and told me he wanted to get around 16 HG vacuum at idle. I felt that though the cam profile he picked though it would idle nice wouldn't quite get me to where I wanted to be powerwise. So, I spent a large sum on the same software and with some consulting from another person came up with a profile that I liked though it would have made 2 HG less vacuum which would have been 14HG vacuum. I still felt it would have been plenty good for a street car. The builder agreed and said if that's the cam I wanted, that's the one he would order. After my own dyno time with my car a conclusion was drawn that I most likely ended up with the cam that the builder initially spec'ed out. It just so happens that the car also has 16 HG vacuum at idle which is the exact number the builder was shooting for in the beginning. I have repeatedly asked for the cam card for my current cam with no avail. Well since I'm doing a lot of fixing of stuff that wasn't done or was done incorrectly from said shop, and my dial indicator is OOC I've decided that the only way I'll know what cam profile I have is to pull the cam and run the numbers through the cam company. I have a feeling it's going to match the initial profile spec'ed by the builder.
The big cam you hear in the video had 12 HG vacuum at idle. I don't recall the vacuum at idle for the 383 and Andys stage 4 cam. I'd imagine it was around 12 HG give or take.
Anyway here's the current cam (the one I'm going to have to pull to get the specs) at idle. 16 HG vacuum at idle. As you can see it idles really mellow.
It made upper 900s for peak whp in my 9.5 : 1 403 with a YSi and a 2.75 blower pulley and 8 inch diameter crank pulley.
So as you guys can see I've tried my fair share of cams. :-)

There are tons of people who Run Arun's stage III cam a.k.a. "The Jam Cam". It seems the jam cam has produced a lot of peak power and some down low power in stock cubic inch engines and even some larger displacement engines. Ricky (69ls6 on here) made 976 whp in his 10.5 : 1 374 cubic inch engine with a vortech YSi blower and 2.75 blower pulley and 8 inch crank pulley. I can't remember if he ever broke into the 8 second territory while rowing gears or not. He was definitely deep in the 9s.
Maybe he will chime in here.
