I'm going to try to hit the 8.90 also but with my current setup, I'm going to pulley down from 3.33 to a 2.75 and get some new tires and extend my shift points from 6300 to 6800 rpm I hope this will take off .35 without breaking or blowing up. Hahaha. .
Going from 3.33 to 3.125 on my ysi changed it completely. From 3.125 to 2.95 I didn't notice much. I think the 3.125 put it in a better spot in its efficiency range.

I think 2.75 is the magic pulley though. That's what I've got for my new build I'm slowly working on.

I have a 2.85 but think I might go with a 2.75. I'm just worried about the stock crank.

I haven't made any jam, my car has been apart for months and I don't have a 93 tune on it. I have no clue what power it will make with the iron block and my tuner.

Idk but I think he's waiting on a credit for the compstar to help pay for the new one.

Yeah the credit isn't THAT big of a deal, I doubt its gonna be much money, I emailed my rep at Callies about a Magnum crank, they appear to be in stock. Its about $1900 vs $1600 for the dragonslayer. If its in stock, I'll probably go that route to save the 2 month wait.

I looked at the Lunati signature series, its still only rated at 1500 crank HP... That's a little closer then I'd like to be..

You figure 1000rwhp thru an auto is atleast 1200hp at the crank, then add 200hp for the parasitic loss from the blower, that puts it at 1400 crank hp, which is 100hp within the max rating.. For the money I'm spending, I'd like a little more safety built in. Without spending $3k for a billet.

I'll be Aruba, you guys have at it. TX2K is a bunch of retard kids, then the private meets seem to turn in to a UGR/GTR festival pulling out their measuring sticks. I've avoided it for a couple years now. On top of that, the police are out(even in the hidden areas, I live in downtown Houston) and it's just not worth it that week.

But I will enjoy y'all's videos!

Man, this really sucks to see. Really sucks that Callie's overshot the landing so bad when rating those cranks. Hopefully you get it back together quick without too many issues.

It didn't used to be that way. But I have been 3 times now and I always end up in the Corvette on Corvette rape fast.

I tried to race a Heffner lambo last year but he didn't want any. I guess he was on the way to Walgreens to buy more tampons.

Yeah I kind of agree. Last year was the first year I took my car out to tx2k for the night meets. I enjoyed going to look at the cars but...I didn't see near as much action as everyone's videos show. I was at Mullets for the big meet and it was cool to see but saw no race action, everyone just stood around. I cruised all over trying to find packs of cars cruising/racing and didn't find sh*t. So basically you have to get invited into a group that leaves from one spot to go race, then back to the hang outs.

I had fun but personally I thought it was highly overrated. I had more fun at the day meet at Lonestar Motorsports track... Then it rained..

I was going to this year if I didn't have to work but I wasnt real ate up with it. I'd rather go to the Texas Invitational or Quick 30 Shootout.

From my research I found the lunati signature crank was equal to the dragonslayer. I run one because Callies jerked me around and lost my order and it was going to be an insane wait

I'm using the Lunati Signature crank on my current build. Call them up and see what they have to say about your application.

There are some guys on yellow bullet doing some insane stuff with them too, I think a guy overseas made 2100hp and the crank took it on the track
