Upping the boost would be cheaper just wondering if it would hold up for a while?

There's no magic number as every engine and tune is different. You simply try to find a good tuner and pray the engine gods blessed your engine during assembly.

The current tune on this car is from j&j speed shop buffalo ny. Seems to be very good, but i live in rochester and have used new era performance on previous builds. Im not really familiar with J&J speed shop and im wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

Do 1 7/8 headers with offroad x pipe, you should gain at least 20whp from just that.

Just talked to ECS and they said a good option would be to swap the twin intercoolers for there single setup...any feedback on that?

if you go that route I would get the biggest intercooler they have and not the smaller one that they offer now, just in case you want to add big power later on

Truly depends on your use

Assuming you have the second version of the intercoolers, they work very well (at least in the sub 700WHP ranges).

Also if you intend road race type use, there is an advantage to leaving the dual coolers in place and not stacking an intercooler in front of the cooling system.

I can tell you in my setup with dual coolers, single nozzle meth triggering at 4PSI(progressive alkycontrol pump set low) - my IATs are at or below ambient.

So for my use and power level I see no benefit swapping to a single IC and In fact it could very well be a detriment...........

how you use your car is probably the best place to start

Yes I kinda felt the same way, I have the newer style intercoolers. I use my car for evening/weekend street races and 2 times a year at the local 1/4 mile track. Sometimes drive it to work 25 mins. I think the fmic is a waste for how I use my car.
