Default whats wrong with WISECO??

This is my second set of pistons they sent wrong to me..with these comp would be 10.2..I was shooting for 9.7

look at this pic of catalog -20cc with a k445x75 same part number on box with a -15cc piston..I called them and admitted they screwed up again with all the part numbers changing for 2015 and never offered to make it right.

Getting to big for the way they have been doing business in the past. Need to have a second set of eyes looking over what is in the box to what was ordered.

I'm running the same piston in my 402 -15 cc with a set of afr 230 s there 70 cc so it's was figured to be @ 9.3 comp. It does well and like a lot of timing. I just wonder what ratio it really has without testing and cc the heads and piston in the hole, head gasket thickness at TDC

So rough guess here

402 with -15 wiseco
AFR 230 72 cc
I was told with right gaskets it will be 9.3 comp. Or 9.7 cr. It can take lots of timing

Anyone what to take a guess

My 402 uses the -15 Pistons. With 65cc heads and LS9 gaskets it is 9.9 to 1.

So with my heads at 70 cc I should be around 9.3 to 9.7 same LS9 gaskets

On my exact engine, if the heads were 70 cc it should be 9.46 (9.5) to one.
It depends on a few things. If you have all the stats you can figure it out.

I think around 10 on an LS is good unless building something crazy.

It's not just Wisco, I while back we got the same deal for one of 4DRUSH's engines. Took forever to get the right pistons. And then the machine work, whole other story.

Yeah they must suck casue you say so. You need to give some more information than that. No other piston manufacture can make a piston as light and strong due to there own forgings. JE and Weisco are owned by the same CO. JE makes all the Nascar Pistons, so it theory they must suck too lol! Are you one of those Diamond Piston guys? Nothing really wrong with those either, but I don't care for them, but mine is just based on another engine builders experience so its just in my head really. Ppl all use different things and parts doesn't mean that one is always better than another. I've never had an issue cause by the Wiesco's ive used. With that said customer service can suck from a large co at times because your just one person and not a bussiness or shop that orders multiple orders. So that sometimes is a PITA. Glad you got it worked out blown81bu.
