Default T Trim, Novi 1,500, Novi 2,000, D1SC Headunit. Anyone have one for sale?

Basically I want a blower in it's max efficiency range with around 800-850rwhp max and the ability to use an ECS or A&A bracket depending on blower with 8 rib and overdrive Balancer. The D1 with the 4:10 step ratio and 1,400 cfm rating seems to fit the bill best for power and belt slip etc. I was thrilled with my P1SC-1 but sold the kit to get something just a bit bigger when I decided to build the motor.

This will be used on a Forged 347 with a Blower cam, Ported 243 heads, Ls6 intake/TB, LT headers, etc with around 10.2 compression and lots of Meth

Finding a few D1SC kits for other cars on Craigslist for around 2,000-2,500 ( most are standard rotation tho). Was hoping to spend around 1,500-1,700 on the head unit alone. I had a D1SC lined up for $1,500 shipped but it turned out to be a standard rotation

What do you guys think? Know any units available?

I will post more build details soon.

Thanks in advance!

Pete

We have all of the above, but the ATI units are going to be more expensive so I would personally stick with a 1500 for 800 rwhp, a 2000 for 900, or the 2200r for 1000+.

If you want to PM exactly what you need I can put together a package deal for you if you like. I could get you a new 1500 for only a little more then your looking to buy a used D1 for with a warranty.

My guess is they do not want to sell only head units, but that's just a guess. They are about $1,000 more for the same CFM give or take.

They are excellent quality, but so is Paxton/Vortech, so that's who gets our business.

Paxton has billet case too! (2000 & 2200R)

Although I have never seen a cast housing fail without something else causing it to fail.

everywhere I see novi 1500's are about $2500 for a polished unit and d1's are maybe a few hundred more, not a grand... unless there is some reason that I'm unaware of that can justify selling a new head unit for a used price

I thought you were going to max out the P1?
You could of had them convert it to a D1.

Sure there is a reason, we are presently Paxton's largest distributor. It's called buying power, glad we could pass it along.
