Default Someone explain to me how the ls7 card style works with a plug and play harness.

I need someone to dummy this up for me..SO I bought a 4" pipe and ls7 card style maf and I have a 01 ls1 so it's a 5 pin connector..So here are the pinouts for the ls7 and ls1..

ls1 maf pinout

ls3/7 maf pinout

So I know lingenfelter sells a harness for a100mm maf that is plug and play..

I dont understand how this plug makes this work with that ls7 card since the pins are all in different places. Do I need to move the pins on my stock harness to match up to the ls7 card style? Would you have to do that to the lingenfelter one or is their maf pins the same as our ls1 and it's only plug and play on there maf? Or am I over thinking this?

I don't know about that particular plug/adapter but it's easy to take the pins out and re-pin.

You have a voltage supply, ground, signal for the MAF and then supply and ground for the IAT sensor as shown in your diagrams. Match them up and set your table up properly and your MAF will work.

Just wanted to update this. I got a caspers harness and no need to repin anything the wires all match up/color coded so they are all going to the correct spots on each maf. Sorry for any confusion but with the caspers it's plug and play

That I couldn't tell you all depends how much air your flowing and if you hit the limits on the maf i suppose. One of the experts would have to answer this

Curious as to if guys are running these mafs over 20psi myself. About to switch over to SD but...this isn't a horrible option. Also thought about this mod for my tahoe.
