I run kooks 1 7/8 into kooks 3 inch x pipe to kooks axle back. I had lg big three before and a huge difference in quality the kooks fits better and is nicer all around in my opinion.
I make just over 700whp but building a motor to hit the 1000+ mark

DMC Racing did mine. From the turbos to the mufflers its 3 inch stainless that was made to be sectional using V-bands. They were able to fit it all around the 4L80e swap which is no easy task. Having it sectional is absolutely amazing, but not cheap.
My mufflers are left over from the old exhaust that was 2.5inch. They are a one off set of Ti mufflers from Borla so replacing them was not really an option. Car is whisper quiet with the mufflers on. DMC also made a set of stainless 3inch straight pipes so I can delete the muffler restriction at the track.

my car originally came with a 3" x pipe that necked down to 2.5" with flowmaster mufflers, made 760whp and then 870whp though that with a D1SC procharger, now have stock 2007 NPP exhaust from a c6 z06 and made 907whp (with some other additional mods). I believe there are guys who have made 1200whp though stock NPP exhaust which necks down to 2.5" at the muffler. I'd assume 2.5" or 3" would both rarely be a bottleneck.

That's what comes out of DMC Racing, only the best of the best. Having it sectional is amazing, and well worth the cost. If you think the exhaust work is nice, you should see the cage work. Best fitting cage I've ever seen in a vette.
