Default tire help… please!

I'm putting down just over 900 to the rear and can't figure out the best wheel tire combo to hook. Currently i am running 345/30/19 NT05R's but i know i need to down down in wheel size. Can I got to 18 and get a better tire? Should i go down to 17? The car is not a daily driver… it is a late night on the streets car!

Generally the more sidewall the better.

Anyone tried the new Mickey ET Street R? http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...item=ETStreetR

They make a P305/45R17 would be a close overall diameter size to your 345/30/19.

M&H 325/45/17 is another option.

I ran the Mickey Et street 2 295/45/17 and it hooked great but I was 600rwhp.

If it's not a daily and used for racing, you should definitely get your hands on a 16" CCW drag pack or get the LG drag spindles and a 15" setup like I have. You will need a thick sidewall full racing slick to make use of that power. the Micky Thompson ET drag or the Goodyear Eagle dragway special are some good choices. If cornering ability is needed, don't go with these. But you will be fastest in a straight line. I drive with my 26"x10" ET drags at 20psi on the street all the time. It's fine, just don't hit corners fast. Anyone that gives me **** at a red light gets absolutely destroyed.

ET Street R is looking like a great option for those that can't run 15" wheels... I'm hoping that they will make more suitable sizes in 16", otherwise i'm going to need a 17" wheel.

R888 is not hooking past 700 whp, unless your definition of hooking is 80+ mph

At 900 whp you will need a drag radial on the back to enjoy the power. Something by MT, M&H or Hoosier.

Keep in mind if you are M12 a 28" tire will kill 4th gear acceleration
