** New 1/8 mile PB, 60' and ET @ ODR Lights Out 6 SGMP with F1X. Pics & Video **
We headed down to SGMP Lights Out 6 for testing. We thought for sure we would be back on trailer after qualifying but not only did we qualify we actually went 2 rounds of eliminations.
This was on a new combo with a smaller F1X, a test block from RHS (Short deck solid filled), new cam from Tick (Martin Smallwood) and fresh motor.
Right off the trailer we tried a hit launching on spark table only and put it right on the bumper. We then set a hefty launch retard in the grid and clicked off a record pass of 4.61 @ 157.
We tried lowering the ramp but she would start power wheeling.
We are rescaling the car next week and adding provisions for weight bars on front end.
Look for us in Bradenton NMCA Street Outlaws next month.
We shattered all our previous 1/8 mile bests while still on IRS:
ET 4.61
MPH 157
60' 1.15
330' 3.052
Acceleration: 2.65 G
Consensus is we have a 4.55 in it, but need to work on suspension.

Only thing that broke was my coccyx bone from the smash. j/k
It was a good experience as I power wheeled again in eliminations but that time I got off throttle then back in again to smooth out the landing.

With all of the spectators in the starting area I don't know how comfortable I would be doing a burnout and letting it walk away from it like you do.. Was it as crazy as it looked at times? You guys were seriously getting into IT.

We just removed 160 lbs from the car (doors forward) which explains the wheelie. We are dropping it off to Farks Supercars next week to re-scale and add weight tabs on front rails.
The 330 is insane at 3.052. The current combo (LS7 port head) is good for a .58. My friend Eric Gustavsen has been in the .40's with same blower but on a Mozez head which will be on my new motor being build now.
The adage bigger is better does not work with all situations. The F3-130 was way to big for my current combo. Swapping to an F1X picked up .25. The F1X maxes out at 33 psi on my combo so the top half is suffering, but it comes in like a animal off the hit.
In it's current configuration the best fit for the combo is NMCA Street Outlaws. The new motor with a F3R-121 will make me more competitive in ODR, etc.

If they want to stay there it's at there own peril especially with eardrum damage. LOL
