No kids, just a ninja cat at the house Sounds like Paul knows how to speak car.

Seriously though, 600lph at 7bar is more than my 4303 + one of the DW301's in the tank combined. If they can pull that off reliably, he's definitely got a market in the high hp F/I crowd.

Jon, Paul is in my friends list on FB, well worth adding him. With your background you'll probably get a kick out of the conversations he generates. Everything from Physics to math to philosophy. You'll probably keep up with the conversations far better than I do.

The pump controller is engineered and made by ID, and allows the pump to maintain a specific volumetric flow rate regardless of system voltage or operating pressure. It's also programmable. This single pump is smaller than a soda can, and flows more than twice what a Walbro 267 does. The 600-7 will definitely not be a relabeled Chinese paperweight.

Sounds like a nice pump option.

I do not. There is still validation work that needs to be done before making the pump publicly available.

I'm wishing that I got a video to post for everyone. Their demo was pretty cool. It was doing big work for such a small pump. I would venture a guess that the controller is a a DC amplifier on top of PWM. That little pump moves some serious volume!

It's a three phase pump... Whole other ballgame of controller tech.

Some recent modern high flow pumps use brushless motors that need an external controller. These can flow huge amounts too and are quire efficient in terms of current

But they're pretty expensive overall. Supposed to be very quiet in operation though

There's a video in my post with the photo.

This pump uses a brushless motor.

I heard something about early next year but no idea if that's true or not. I know they're working on fuel filters too.
