Anybody have luck fitting.....
R888 325/30-19 rear tires under stock fenders? Time for new tires, pretty settled on R888's since the car lives on the street. Currently I have 305/30-19 PS2's on CCW 19x11 CCW wheels and ~630whp. They also make a 305?30-19 R888 so can go that way too.
Just out of curiosity, how much of a hit to handling are the MT Street Radial II in the 305/35-19 and what tire do people run up front for the street. Car doesn't really see rain, weekend ride and its not like I road race it either. More likely to get to the 1/4 a couple times a year but not going for hero 60 ft time.
Got the car running today, first time since fall and really cant wait to get it on the street again!
Thanks for the information,
PC

My 305's are almost touching in a couple of places on a cow 19x11.5 wheel. I don't think a 325 can fit without a mini tub or fenders. You might be able to get a small wheel spacer and do it.

I understand the desire to put as much tire on a rim as possible, but I've had better luck with traction running the appropriate tire width based on the rim size.

Every time I see someone put a tire that's wider than the rim, the contact patch on tire ends up being no wider than the tire due to the ends being rolled in. Have you noticed that with yours?
