Default vortech drivers side install help?

i am having a problem with my oil discharge rubbing on my power steering pump pulley... is there a place to buy a smaller size pulley? maybe someone has some information on hose to use or a way to help solve my problem?
p.s.
the way i found out it was rubbing was after i found oil covering my rear bumper and got under the car to find it oil soaked :/ then noticed i was about 2 quarts low after a 70 mile ride!

nope and it is exactly the way the directions say to install it it would be alot easier if i could just find a power steering pulley that was an inch smaller in diameter

Can you run the line under the power steering rack? Maybe zip tie it to something that will hold it away from the pulley? (that's what I did.)

I understand what you are saying because I have the same original Vortech kit.

You need a small pinch clamp facing away from the belt on the power steering pulley so the pulley doesnt rub into the belt.

What I ended up doing was going with a push fit hose barb and some braided nylon hose to slip over the barb without any clamp since it supposedly seals in this manner. So far so good after about 4k miles now.

no clamp to interfere with serpentine belt. Hope this helps.

not sure if that will solve my issue as the 90* barb might add to much length to it?? i'll have to give it a better look, thanks for the response may be just what i'm looking for

Are you having issues with your pulley and the oil return line by the supercharger head unit or by the oil pan side?

can you post any pics?

I dont see how your having a problem unless the line is just too short.

Following the directions got you where you are now. You're going to need a back up plan for when you discover you have no smaller pulley options.

Post up pics of what you're dealing with.

I imagine my C6 is similar. I just made a line to the length I wanted with a connection under the blower to make it easier to remove if the head unit has to come off, and also to clear everything better to the pan.
I don't have a really good pic... just this....

my blower is on the drivers side not passengers side and the oil drain comes out almost exactly where the power steering pulley is there is like a inch clearance so when the drain hose is there it rub's on the pulley..

Oh.. didn't know they went on the drivers side. Some pictures would help us to help you. Maybe an angled fitting of some kind could work.

I have the same kit. Maybe you have the wrong outside diameter hose? I even have braided nylon hose and it's not rubbing. Only the house clamp was an issue.

The pulley lines up right next to the hose clamp. Are you sure its the hose or is it the clamp? I looked at mine and I dont see how the hose can rub.. ill try to grab a pic for you..
