Default New Comp Turbo CT2X5858 .63A/R oil-less twins

Thought I would share some pictures of the new set of turbos I purchased from Huron Speed Products here in Michigan. The turbos were build at Comp Turbo out in California. I own a 2001 Z06 with an STS rear mount kit. The new turbos have the oil-less triple ceramic ball bearing center cartridge. Water ports are build in for cooling and an update to this design is the ZERK fitting for easy greasing. The cartridges use a proprietary grease from Comp Turbo. Soon to be installed. Should be a great update over the base Garretts. Rated at 600 horse power. COMP TURBO CT2X5858 .63A/R with the T3 4 bolt turbine housing. Easy drop in upgrade to the STS kit. Enjoy the pictures!

Wow how did they work out? I'm just getting an old kit revived on my car. Turbos are starting to look tired, super curious!

The install is scheduled for this coming week after the holiday weekend. I'll post the finished pictures soon after. Should make an excellent upgrade.

What size turbos are you swapping them with? A/R?

I'm not sure what the original STS Turbos are in sizing.

I just swapped my stock sts turbos for the 5858 precision
Ball bearings with a .63 a/r and omg what a difference!
Doesn't whistle as much but it hits quick and as hard as your controller
Tells it too

How are you planning to run the water coolant to the turbos?

The shop I'm working with is fabricating some hoses to run from a connection out of the coolant hoses up front and then all the way back, basically in the same positions that the STS oil lines ran underneath the car. I'll post some new pictures soon.

Right on man! How has your kit held up since you have been running the STS set up?
