Default Any turbo/automatic setups running <1.40 60's?

Looking to compare a turbo setup with similar power levels as my car (mid 600's on restrictor plate or low 700's without). My setup is an ECS Novi 2k supercharger with RPM Level 6 4L60E... What does it take to get a turbo/twin turbo setup to leave hard (with an automatic)? I realize there's a lot of variables, but I just want to do some general comparisons.

My car currently has done a best 60' of 1.40 on it's way to a 6.10 @ 114 eighth mile while making 660 rwhp.

Will it take more power in the turbo car, generally speaking, to 60' that well?

Man I wish mine would 60 like that. I've tried alot of things and never did better than 1.5's. Transbrake, loose stall, didn't like either one. More compression or cubes would probably help. Mine likes a 2step footbrake launch about 3000, and sees 1.5-1.6.

Now I'm playing with nitrous and tried a 75 shot, went 1.49 on to a 6.0@119. Maybe I should try a different brand converter besides Precision, but the one I have works decent so be it.

With a turbo car the torque converter will be the deciding factor on how the car leaves IMO. I have a powerglide it's a little different, but I can go mid 1.3's on the footbrake (leaving at 3400 with a 4500ish stall) and mid 1.2's on the transbrake (leaving at 4200). I leave on about 8-10psi and generally run 6.0's@118-120 on the footbrake at the that boost setting.

Not sure of my power level but the 9psi trap speed puts my guess right around 750whp

Let me get this straight--what is your 60' when running a 6.0 @ 118+? If I'm doing 1.40 on my way to a 6.10 @ 114, I'm guessing you should be well into the 5's, no?

6.0 footbrake passes are usually with a high 1.38ish 60'. I've only ran it's this way a couple times though, so haven't played with ramping boost in and such on the foot brake. With that said yes it goes mid 5's@125+ on t brake and ramping to 14psi 1 second after launch with consistent 1.25-.29 60'

I plan to come visit that track soon hopefully. I always hear about that being a good grudge track. If my funds allow that's ultimately what I plan to do when/if I get a forged engine setup. I'm still on stock short block at the moment. With the next engine I'm shooting for 135+ in the 1/8!

Oh, and I thought I was on edge with 735 rwhp and stock shortblock! Nice to see i'm not alone in this... LOL

Let me know if you ever come down this way. Thursday nights are the big street car nights/grudge nights at Greer, but Saturday is the day to run a number due to prep.
