Interesting....actually more an LS1/LS2/LS6 intake.....all of which are cathedral ports
Very curious how this manifold will do against the gold standard.....LOL
I think this version was released ahead of schedule or at least the schedule I read about (they were initially targeting the fall I believe on the cathedral release).
Good stuff.....will have to get my hands on one of those as well!

would have a problem with installation, right now it is not buy-bolt on
-run. It is a little more involved. I am hopeing for big numbers when
I get it on the dyno. The seat of the pants feel-------the car feels
strong.
Let me know what you think of this intake ;once you get one to
test.

I seen you posted about problems with your install because of your blower but for a N/A car do you think it would be less of a hassle? I read a few post about not clearing the water pump did you have this problem?
thanks

right now. I had no problems with the water pump. I think you would
have a lot less hassle's with a N/A engine.

I would have taken a grinder to the "atomic air force" letters before I installed it. That literally sounds like something a couple of junior high kids dreamed up.

That's pretty funny actually.....I never gave the name much thought! (just thought the logos were a bit obnoxious with all four of them).

has anyone actually dyno tested this on a boosted 700+whp setup? I have yet to see a good dyno test and have yet to see anyone with any real street miles on it. I think the FAST intakes typically show decent gains but the reliability has not been good on big boost setups and lots of guys run stock ls7/3 intakes to 1,100+ whp so would have to be pretty good numbers and reliability for anyone with FI to car imo
in fact I think JBS ran this on his ~850whp setup and gained zero peak numbers with only modest mid range gains. I'd be not thrilled if I spent $800 on this, the time to install, and the money/time to retune and showed like 15hp of mid range and zero peak gains

A ported FAST is still the "gold standard". The cathedral MSD effort was close but the FAST edged them out a little bit based on a few tests I have seen. If I had to guess MSD focused alot more time on the LS7 intake design or they simply got lucky (it does happens occasionally....LOL)
