Default Weld Alumastar 2.0 15" backspace

Hey fellas. Im ready to order the front skinnies but havent heard back from Weld yet so if any of you are running a Weld 15x3.5" wheel what is the right backspacing for a 2002 C5 coupe. Im going to run drag brakes but curious if the stock brakes will fit for sitting in the shop. I dont want to grind my factory calipers so if I need to I will just remove the calipers until I get a manual drag brake setup

Let me see if I can find my spec sheet. I've got the 15" fronts with strange race brakes.

Ok.
I have 15x4 with 2.5" BS.

Hope that helps some.

Oh yeh. I have the RT-S wheels. Not the really cool 2.0 wheels.

Personally I like the 4" wide front rim, seems to fit a skinny tire better

I believe 2.25" is the biggest bs offered in 4" & 1.75" for 3.5" (which is what you want)

No problem with Strange drag brake clearance.

What he said here. Plus to me the 4 inch has a better feel going down the track.
