Default Bosch ANSU 1650 vs. ID 1700

I am in the market for new injectors and have it narrowed down to these two choices. Anyone have any input between the two?

The 1650 can only take 5 bar of fuel pressure which is retarded. ID must do something to them because they can support 7 bar after they modify them.

I would go with ID...especially because for once they are comparable in price

I don't know how true but a tuner was telling me back when I was getting the RHS build that the ID 1800 was the best & less problems to tune in these cars.

One thing is relatively certain. ID has a considerable investment in achieving their injector data. I've seen case after case where a person says hey I bought these ID xxxx injectors, plugged in the Data they provided and these cars run excellent with "big injectors" on mild combinations through the entire operation range of the engine.

I've also heard people who really have no Dog in the fight (nothing to gain or lose) say that there are others outside of ID who have the ability to achieve the same characterization Data as ID. As a consumer, I'd have to say the most important part to me is that at the end of the day, I want my "whole system" to perform as well as possible with out doing anything half ***.

One common thread I see amongst supporters and Naysayers of ID is that they all seem to agree that there is an importance for correct injector data for performance through the complete range of a fuel injector. I've never heard anyone say that ID don't work. People usually say "the others work just as well as ID" The biggest complaint of the critics is the price. If the two products you're looking at are similar in price, it seems like a no brainer. :-)

ASNU every time. I've never seen one fail....yet I've seen ID's fail both 1000's and 2000's. Just makes it hard to trust them, even if these new ones may be different

Plus not sure about the ID1700, but the ASNU's are compatible with all fuels.

Although if ID are claiming they now come from Bosch Motorsport ( even if they always ground off the Bosch part numbers before ), I know the ASNU's are also developed and tested in conjunction with Bosch, fully tested to OEM standards by Bosch so there's a good chance the two injectors mentioned are almost the same.

Although it looks like ID still have no atomising nozzle on their injectors judging by the pictures on their website.
