Damn that looks f:cking badass!!! I also found the issue with the 16" tire issue, ended up with the 295/50/16 mickeys and it was very hard to find them with a good date code. What size are they now? I would love to go 15" but damn.

i ran into the same situation .i know Hoosier makes a 295 50 16 that is still available .Mickey thompson discontinued all the good sizes in the 16s

new setup is 275 60 15 . i love the new setup but make sure you factor everything its going to cost before you make an impulsive buy like i did lol . our canadian pesos didn't help this purchase LOL

Took my first drive with the new setup last night .... need more power lol
Love that it dead hooks in 3rd. Tried pushing my luck and started a wot pull from 1st gear. Spun a little and dead hooked on 2nd gear . Felt awesome lol.

Next on the list is to try and hit the track

Car looks amazing! Great job

Can we get a shot from the rear with the new tires?
Also, what suspension mods have you done if any?

Thanks

The rear wheels most likely are 15x10 7.5" backspacing...that's what most guys use. 28's fit fine at proper ride height...may have to remove liners.

ill try and get pics tonight . Only problem with rubbing so far is the lower control arms . I think cause i have coilovers its giving me a hard time .
had to take alot off the lower control arm to have enough clearance .

The tires stick out roughly 1 inch from the 1/4 panels .They rub when i hit big bumps but nothing that bad .

updates front wheels are getting a little paint this morning

Looks like the beadlock pulls the tire out. Which then brings up the question is a beadlock required? Looks good though, but probably not necessary for a street car.
What psi do you have in the rears?

I run them at 20psi on the street. I do plan to track the car.but i agree 100% that beadlocks arent necessary for my setup. But i love the look of them and might come in usefull one day lol

Hey guys here another update on the build.
Went racing last month 10.47 @ 140mh on 13psi
My tuner told me i needed to learn how to drive lol
In the data logs he was seing vaccum between the shift and boost dropping.

After we got back racing i decided we needed to change the exhaust to a full 4 inch system.
After the exhaust was built we ran into a few issues ..like melting my plastic coolant tank lol no problem ordered an aluminum morosso replacement

Also found 3 big boost leaks 2 open vaccumsand one of the couplers on the intercooler wasnt tighten up enough.

new coolant tank

burnt coolant tank on the side of the highway

new exhaust

As of today the car seems to be running great. Next on the list will be to go from 4 inch to dual "3 straight back .
the boost is setup at 15psi with 14 degrees timing and low 11s AFR (so much stronger then what i had before)
it seems to be running good with no missfire . I havent done a full 4th gear pass yet.
hoping with all the issues i found my only issue will be traction lol

No big build goes unscathed without a few hiccups. Lot of potential in your combo it will only get better.

That exhaust setup is a lot like mine, so i have a question for you if you don't mind.

When i bought my hot side for my single setup it came with a "mid pipe" that has a turn down right in front of the rear cradle like yours. How loud is yours? Mine is ungodly loud inside the car, feels like it is going to rattle my teeth loose. I recently got the Y pipe setup Hinson uses to connect to the axle back setup to quiet it down.

My only worry is ill loose a good bit by running through the Borla stinger (so 3 inch to two 2.5 inch setup) and if thats the case then maybe I need to just nut up and deal with it lol.
