I had an issue with the coil pack main connector (10 pin) at the valve cover that was causing a misfire problem. The issue was the female side of the connector had lost it's tension on the male side for the power and gound in the connector. I pulled my hair trying to find my misfire and that was all it was. Hope it helps you.

i may have found another issue . i found my alternator was squealing
so i got it rebuilt i guess the bearings where shot in it . maybe it affected the voltage enough to create a slight misfire . the car seems to run very strong on the street . i drove it for a couple hours last saturday to see if
i had any other issues . ill know more next week end

hey guys here a small update and review of the overall new turbo build .
ive been driving the car for the last week or so . i did find a couple issues but so far all fixed . one of my big worries was the car overheating and so far its been really good . 190-200 in traffic and 185 on the highway .

power seems to come on around 3500rpm . hits pretty hard
im running around 13psi with 10.3 afr and 10 degrees timing . (800whp 850trq) it hooks pretty good in 3rd gear from a 60mph rolll
im sad the mickey thompson doesn't make the 315 45 16 any more cause they are a wicked upgrade vs the 305 35 18 i ran last year.

in the next few weeks i need to get the car street tuned again and up the boost to 15psi i will keep you guys posted how it goes

sitting pretty and dirty

Hell yeah! It's refreshing to see these all out turbo builds like yours and mine (sort of). It gets boring seeing people come on here and keeping asking the same endless questions about superchargers. Good on us for being different!

Glad you're enjoying it now some. Should be a fun car no doubt and on a side note, if you really are at 10.3 afr you will pick up a ton of power at the same boost by leaning it out some and still be plenty safe. My last TT car gained 70whp from 10.7-11.2 on 10psi.

Oh we know this. Only thing on the dyno as soon as we leaned it out to 11.3-11.4 it would missfire . We took 100whp out of the car by tuning it rich
And taking timing out of it.

Hoping to get the car street tuned next week. Im going to leave the timing at 10 degrees and get him to lean it out to 11.0 . Will see how it runs.

So far at 15psi it feels really good on the street

Really crazy that it misfires in a more ideal combustion (11.0) than in a super rich one (10.3) lol. Stranger things do happen I suppose, good luck with it!

I know. Hoping we can lean it out to 11 and leave it there. Should be enough jam for the summer lol

What are the offsets on the front and rear? Any rubbing? Specifically on the rear since that is a 28"?

not sure on rubbing yet since i havent had a chance to finish assembling the passenger side axle and spindel . i had a simular setup with the CCW drag pack they didn't rub

sad to say no lol . we ended up turning the power down . pig rich AFR 10.3
and 10 degrees timing it doesn't sputter at 15psi and make a little over 850whp and close to 900trq . im going to leave it like this for the summer . this winter ill most likely be swapping the cam and wtv the valve train needs . the car is lots of fun on the street with this power .cant wait to try out the 15s with this power setting

hoping to hit the track next month to try and hit a 9sec pass .always been a goal of mine banging gears
