I'm also on coilovers and it rides really good, the tire setup was still good even on stock suspension... I would not run invo's on the rear, it would be about the same as the hankook's... either of those would do good up front though

The 05 standard front and 05R rear is a great match tho the invo , hankook etc would be fine as well. The 05 and 05R just have the same look to them. My 05R's have lasted over 8k mile but are getting pretty close to the wear bars. 2 seasons with light track action and about 10,000 street miles is about what you get out of them depending on how many burnouts etc you do.

I briefly had the Hankooks on the rear in a 285 18 and it was decent for 600 rwhp with warm pavement with throttle control in 1st and 2nd. I then had the POTENZA RE760 SPORT in the factory 17/18 sizes and it was ok as well. No way I would keep them with 715rwhp. What rim sizes are you running?

Your best all around bet is NT05R rear with standard Z rated tire up front. You could always have a spare set of NT05R rears for when you want to play.

What is the best tire for traction that you guys wouldn't be scared to take on a long road trip incase stuck in rain shower or lower temps?? Is that what the M/T ET STREET S/S is?? Or should a car with 600-650rwhp stick with the Michelin pilot super sports if they have those concerns ??

Love the Mickey's.
This is good to hear! I’m wondering if a 325/30/19 ET street S/S will hook up well with my 1100whp Grand Sport

At that power level I'd be all over the Nitto NT555R. They were simply outstanding in a 305/35-18 on my setup when it was making 761/760 to the wheels. Inclement weather, cold, warm, etc. The ONLY time they got sketchy was above 50 in an absolutely torrential downpour I got caught in one day.
