Default What goes here?

Got my car back after 11 month ordeal from two diff shops. I noticed this line is no capped off or connected. It comes off the throttle body. DO I JUST CAP IT OFF? Both the lines to the catch can are connected. Thanks.

Would this not being capped off throw either a p0103 or p407 code? It speed density tuned.

It went to the passenger side valve cover (factory PCV system). Cap it off.

That code is because you went SD. It will be there when you check your codes but it shouldn't be giving you a warning. If it does every time you start the car your tuner has to change that in the tune. Turn off.

It should show up with a "h" beside it.

Below are codes you may see in the DIC after converting to Speed Density. They can't be disabled, but are instead changed to not report a MIL light. So they are there, but won't mess with a vehicle inspection (if your state has one).

P0101 Mass Air Flow (MAF) System Performance
P0102 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low Frequency
P0103 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit High Frequency

Yeah I have the p0103 H and C. I am afraid it won't pass emmissions in MD. I also have the P0704 also.

I would cap it off then clear the codes. See what comes back and report back.

You know how to work the DIC on the dash right?

So 2 different shops didn't notice that wasn't capped or maybe it was and it blew off on your way home? If 2 shops missed it being uncapped they ain't very good shops.

Take it to a local parts store and get them to put a scanner on it. If it doesn't pick up the codes (it won't if the tuner did it right) you golden.

P0704 Clutch Switch Circuit (M/T)

Did you even look up the codes before posting? So far none of them have to do with a vacuum leak. Here's a link to a list of codes.

There may possibly be a threaded plug from the inside of the TB on it, if not cap it & clamp it.

I put a bolt thru a heater hose and clamped it on both sides. I will clear the code and see if the po103 comes back.

I gave you the info your looking for posts 6 and 11.

P0103 is supposed to be there with a speed density tune.

Yah, don't clear the P103 code. It will def come back. You can clear the others, but leave the P103.

Take the car back to the tuner and have them verify that P0103 has been set to:

2 - No MIL Light

Then it won't throw a code for it, but it will show up when you pull the codes in the DTC.

It should look like the picture below.

Did you not read my post #15? You're supposed to leave the P103 code. It's always going to be there with a SD tune. You can clear the rest but leave the P103 alone. If you don't have a speed density tune, then yeah, take it to the tuner.
