ECS cradle and water hoses
Recently laid back the cradle with the ECS piece. I noticed the top radiator hose is now coming in contact with some parts of the motor. Anyone else see this? Anything you can do about this or did you guys just let it sit as is?

yep it's normal, mine was touching the ebcm bracket and I ended up removing the bolt on that bracket nearest the front of the car to relieve some stress on the upper hose... I have thought about cutting that ear off the ebcm bracket and have something else fabbed up to hold the ebcm or what would really be nice is to have the radiator inlet welded at an angle to get the hose away from the ebcm... if I would have known the hose was going to be so close I would have done that before I installed my dewitts radiator but it is what it is at this point and has been fine for about 2 years so I have left it alone... if my radiator has to come out for any reason then I will address it at that time

is there a such thing as a sleeve which can be put around the hose to act as a shield? maybe i will just have to monitor if it starts to compromise the hose..

my radiator hose had a plastic sleeve on it which appears to be factory, I just left that on the hose where it makes contact with the ebcm bracket
