Default P1SC-1 intercooler upgrade

I am curious what upgrades could I do with the twin small intercoolers to gain more hps?

x2.

I was told the larger twins will support about 800 pretty easy. The small ones would be good to 700ish id bet. One advantage of the twins is they do not block the radiator.

OP,

Are you IAT temps high?

Meth should cool down your IAT temps if you are not running it. I'm 715 on the larger ones and my IATs are pretty solid. I only run 50% meth currently. I had the older ones with My P1 and no meth and zero issues at 600rwhp. What intake system does your kit have? Hopefully it goes over the radiator and not that junk single fan intake thing they initially had.

Check this article it shows them side by side.

"The new units feature 4.5-inch cores and 3-inch intake tubing--up from 3.5 iches and 2.5 inches, respectively, on the originals"

The best mod to do is to do and cheapest would be to get rid of the stock blower inlet pipe and filter and do a custom 4 inch inlet pipe and filter

The intake/filter? Mine came with my kit used. It's a Dallas performance big mouth. You can either make one or buy the Dallas performance one. Not sure any other vendors have one but it would be pretty easy to make one like the one youngrigo posted

I was told it is not a direct bolt on and needs modification. What is the modification needed to get it to fit?

I went to an exhaust shop and bought a 45 degree 4in pipe and had it cut to the size i needed. Then i ordered a 4in filter from a&a corvette. I did have to cut the opening for the filter as the a&a filter is alot bugger then the procharger filter

Do you have the Procharger radiator cradle or radiator lowered?
