Finished filling up old holes in valve covers and welding in new threaded filler cap and a couple 10an bungs. Ready to go for coating now.

Working my way through a list of little things to get stuff wrapped up.

Some other stuff done previously.. I went on with a new c6 pan since my old one already had 4 holes in it. While I had a fresh one to start with, I thought I would add a few trap doors to see if I can minimize some of the oil dispersing away from pickup under big power G's. We'll see how it does, but when testing with a water hose it did help keep water in the center. Don't pay attention to the X

Since cooling is always a concern with these, Bret had a pretty good idea for using a shorter condenser. So picked up a universal 12x25 and welded on some mounting tabs. Don't know how much it will help, but at least there isn't a SUV size unit on here anymore in front of radiator.

Schedule 10 manifolds are the ticket. If I ever do it again...thats the route I'll take. I think when I do the turbo on the tahoe, that's what i'll do.

Very nice.

This build I LIKE. The car isn't being hacked up, the engine bay looks roughly the same (coolant and washer tanks still in place), no fender exiting exhaust...........do like.

Thanks guys. Have worked pretty hard to make all of this work in sync and easily serviced while maintaining all accessories.

Status for the weekend.. all little stuff checked off the list and everything will be headed to the coaters tomorrow. Hot parts are going to take a couple weeks, so will work on other items while this is all gone.

It's slightly smaller, but my no means a mini.. it's one of the Billet Tech's that Bret Blownbluez06 offers. Stock alternator fits in the bracket as well.

One of the items will be finishing install of the carPC. Got tired of all the add-on gauges, so decided I would just view them when I wanted on a 10.1" HD touch panel in the dash. Built up a VoomPC2 unit with more features then should be in a car. Looks like a little amplifier. With it, I can control HP Tuners from the dash, as well as the Haltech Elite. No more laptops in the car... no more add on gauges in the pillar, etc. And only view what I want, when I want.

I have zero skills with fiberglass or bodywork. Talked to a couple popular places, and was told they might look at it, but really felt there wasn't any room and wouldn't even consider mounting on the panel. So, while I was working on finishing Bret's parts he took on the dash project. Absolutely knocked it out of the park! (And then said he wouldn't ever want to do one again )

**edit: pictures are breaking uploading from my phone. Will mess with it tomorrow.

Thanks! And... you're welcome? Tablet could work too. Sounds like we had similar ideas. Just say no to all the gauges! Gaugeart is now compatible with Haltech, so yet another way to use the screen. Check out mp3car.com sometime. There's all kinds of stuff you can do when you put a full pc in the car. I'm more mechanically oriented, so some of that stuff is beyond me, but pretty cool none the less.

Yeah man, that's badass! I hate my A pillar gauges....I hate the hvac/radio..and center console plus, mine is broken now and my AF gauges are probably gonna be hard to monitor at WOT. It sucks, getting in all of these 2015(give or take) vehicles and the interiors are so modern,..it's hard not to want something in the older C5's. I wanna make something race inspired but, not remove everything(just modernize). I never thought really you could do what you're doing(also not a pc techy) but I thought the tablet would be decent. Gonna look more into this PC setup. It's gonna be SICK when you do the gauge layout which to me also, is the main, only real reason for doing that.

Looks real nice! I wasn't sure if it was you or Brett that I was talking to him about the in car PC idea and mentioned he was working on a setup. I was working on one for the C6, but I've put it on the back burner for now as I'm a little busy. But it looks like Brett did a great job! Can't wait to see it all back together.

Thanks!!!

Assembly has commenced. I've had stuff pulled around every which way for all the kits that have been built and mocked on my car over the last year. So, taking my time to route stuff where it should be. Some sneak peaks. Should have the other turbo on later tonight. Lots of little things
