Accurate Electronic Boost Gauges
The autometer gauge I have is off a bit measuring boost levels. Anyone know of a good accurate boost gauage that can easily be hooked up to the HPTuners PRO interface? I could also go with a good mechanical boost gauage with recall, but I can kind anything of the sort.

I use the Defi on my truck...It works great, very smooth and responsive. Its the best boost gauge I have used. (I've been through at least 4 different boost gauges on my turbo bike).
Defi gauges are the best bar none.... but...$$$

i have yet to come accross an accurate boost gauge. also, what are you going to check it with?i logg the map voltage and look it up.

In HP Tuners make a user defined PID and name it boost. (Or whatever you want)
For sensor select Manifold Absolute Pressure. For units select PSI. For the function string, type [PID.11.IMP]-14.5
If that don't work try using [SENS.30.IMP]-14.5 as the function.

that will only be accurate, if you got the sensor data right. you could measure it at several points, if the system lets you. in efilive the pids seem to work only when engine is running. but again, accurate manometers are very expensive. what would you use? i have been looking for an accurate gauge forever. lets say +/- 1%.

I've found that if you define the custom boost PID as a manifold pressure sensor, that it will bork up the built in MAP PID and it reads MAP wrong. Don't define it as a sensor at all.
