Help me with my nitrous/E85...Need fuel system
Hey guys, I'm getting my trans built next month and I need more power, the car is not as fast as I would like... I'm almost positive I'm going to be going nitrous (150 shot) before spring time comes back around. I am pretty sure I have my nitrous system all set up, but I'll list that if anyone has advice or input on it. I think I got all the goodies to do it right and safely (with new tune)
Nitrous outlet plate kit with 15lb bottle
Purge kit
Mini stage 2 progressive controller
Heated bottle bracket
LNC 2000 for timing retard
Nitrous outlet new pro wiring harness so it's all plug and play
The c5 switch panel
BR7EF plugs
As you can tell by the title, I would also like to go E85, for the extra octane and it's all over the place by me. I'll talk to my tuner also, but I'm trying to plan ahead so I can tell him what I want to get and not bother him with a bunch of questions when I'm not ready to buy it yet.
What injectors and fuel pump or system do you guys recommend?
Any other advice is welcome and appreciated.
EDIT- current mods are full exhaust, fast intake, bbk throttle body, unknown cam specs, and it made 436/392... Feel free to guess how much power I should see with a 150 shot.

I'm guessing you're not planning on using a stand alone fuel system for the nitrous?
Pulling fuel off the rail naturally will create more demand from your fuel system.
So does E85.
Do you know your current injector duty cycle? ? You could increase it by 15-20% just from the switch to E85. Then pulling more fuel off the rail, and you see the need for more pump capacity
Fuel system? At the very least something like the Walbro 255 with a hot wire kit. Personally, I'd go bigger. Well, personally, I'd go with the stand alone, but that's not for everyone.
From my experience, pulling off the rail on a stock internal LS1/6, the stock fuel pump will keep up fine. But since you're already into the motor with heads and cam, and likely larger than stock injectors, you'll most certainly need a better fuel system.
Good luck with your goals!

Honestly I don't know what size injectors I have, I bought it used... my tuner said I do not have enough injector for a 150 shot. And that's without increasing demand with the e85... So I'm starting from scratch and getting big injectors and a pump to support e85 and more power at once.
Stand alone is an option I guess, but with e85 available and ease to run it all the time that might work better for me. Just fill up the tank and be set. But I've always had a blower, never a nitrous guy so I could be wrong? That's why I'm looking for some guidance

60lb injectors should be sufficient for E85 in a 346. And a 340 pump should work out well, but put it on a Hotwire kit so it gets a good electrical source.

Melting Slicks
my E85 nitrous setup consist of NOS 90mm plate, dry 175 shot, Nano, ID850s, bosch 044 external pump/system, modified the stock fuel rail to make it return, and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
11.9 AFRs, 60% IDCs
first time out, consistent high 10@138

DW fuel system
I just had a Deatsworks system installed on mine. It is supposed to support up to 1400 HP. I will try to attatch a picture of it. I hope it works as good as I am being told?
