Neat product. As a DASH option though? Cool but reminds me of a handheld to much. If I was gonna go with anything,..it'd be like this.

..or of course the racepak. Something like that. I think eventually I will have a tablet replacing my radio area of something along the lines of that.

everyone ive seen use it do all the tuning on a laptop but still have a racepak dash. since fuel tech doesnt make their own harness yet, they piggy back the racepak. i just know they all love it. thought id share.

but me having emissions in my state. i wont be able to go to any of these stand alone systems so im limited on how far i should go

Thanks for the share. Personally never heard of that unit. I am sure it'll benefit someone hoss. The extra cost of the 1k to have gauges isn't bad but makes me wanna probably just rewire my factory cluster to work.

We'll see how it goes this year.

on the c5 when you piggy back the ECM you keep the ALDL port and the factory computer is still there so when they plug in for OBD II you will look OK.

I believe you can have your cake and eat it too if done properly.

Dominator EFI ECU PN 554-114

NTK Wideband O2 Sensor PN 554-100 x 2

LS1 Main Harness PN 558-102

LSx Injector harness - For EV6 Style Injectors PN 558-201

Main Power Harness PN 558-308

Dominator EFI GM Drive-By-Wire Harness PN 558-406
This looks similar to what I have. I have the racepak dash/logger integration too. But I am not using any of the factory stuff. It's all ripped out.

Guessing you obviously still run a BCM?

Would you mind showing off the dash setup?

Or anyone with a different dash mind showing them off here?

Thanks.

BCM was removed as well. I'll get some pics ASAP! Working on redoing the factory dash pad and gauge panels.

I just finished a Haltech Elite 2500 on my 2001 corvette. It has similar functionality to a Dominator. It has DBW control, and built in traction control strategies, plus just about anything else you can think of. I'm very happy with it so far, but I do not have it fully tuned yet.

Parts required:

Haltech Elite 2500
Haltech Dual channel wideband controller
Flex Fuel Sensor
4ft Flying lead harness
Coolant temp sensor
heat shrink
solder
Several Duetsch connectors
3m electrical tape

lots of texts and call to Bret aka BLOWNBLUEZ06

Waiting on a price quote from a friend that works directly for Holley.

Feel like sending me a quote?

Twin turbo car
boost control(so solenoids, etc needed)
maybe even flex fuel.
Manual car

Lemme know. We're a shop and forum sponsor so if you do deals with shops, lemme know on that.

Thanks in advance.

So why choose Holley? I'm considering aftermarket engine control as well, so I am very much interested in what you do.

Holley is among one of the favorites in the tuner community. Ideally, if I had the bread...I would be rocking a MOTEC unit but,..don't have 15k plus to invest in that. PROefi people either love or hate, as well as haltech...people seem to love or hate. In the end, I think it boils down to the person tuning it, what they like, based on past experiences using various systems, or stock ecm based hp tuners, efi live, ls1edit, etc etc.

I don't claim to be an ecm tuner. I am learning efi live currently, and will be learning whatever I end up buying. My tuner(Kraftworks Jay Healey) likes the holley setup. I do have a PROefi system we are going to install in a C6 here really shortly finally, so I will have a little more experience soon hopefully. . . I can get a proefi system kinda cheap if I wanted to go that route. I just hear support, isnt the best.
