C6Z trans and diff. On Hoosier QTP mounted on a 16" wheel. RXT clutch. Full weight - street car. Drives to the track, rips off some passes, drives home.

Best of success with your goals!
Damn that's flying right there!!

Car is very efficient.

i know "you will break alot of ****"

setup for far is custom single turbo should be (900whp 900trq)
ccw drag pack (315 45 16 et streets)
6060 with ZR1 diff
driveshaft shop axles
centerforce twin disc (hoping not to make pop corn with this )

ive ran 10.86 @ 133 mph with my old 6 speed Z06 with 650whp 540trq
on 18 inch drag radials .

im thinking i just gotta grow a set and go try lol
I figure I will be in the 900-1000rwhp range with 13-15psi, I have the ZR1 geared TR6060, Tilton triple carbon(and hydraulics) with C6 Z06 diff, stock C5 axles, coilovers, C6Z06 sway bars, and solid bushings. I really honestly am expecting to go 9's damn near off the trailer or off the street. If I don't, I need to re-evaluate my life haha. I plan to attempt this on a few different wheel and tire setups, nothing elaborate. No traction systems, no boost by gear...just street racing, at the track.

Hopefully I can revisit this post in less than a month with a time slip, or few.(no cage currently so we'll see how that goes).

60ft the car. If it's not there, get off the throttle. When you know the 60ft is nailed, stay in it for your 9 second slip.

Also forgot the mention id like to drive the car to the track and back home , this is why i didn't want to run the hoosiers lol
The slick will be much easier. You can drive to the track on a slick esp a 26x11.5x16 MT. Just need to air them up to 30 psi and be vigilant.
The 26 will require some finesse and even more so with the radial. It can be done with any tire esp with some extra hp but you'll have more fun with the slicks.
Dont forget you need skinnies with slicks .
I'd start the radial @ 17 psi cold and a Hoosier slick around 15 cold and work your way down if necessary
If you run a 26" you will eventually want to be down around 11ish but work your way into things. Goodluck.

Andrew ended up going 9.45 yesterday on a 1.47. (DA was 1574.)

OP- You will be much better served on a bias ply tire for obtaining your goals. They will usually produce a much better 60' than a DR and are much more forgiving on parts. It is not necessary to make that kind of power to reach 9s. It can be done with approximately 500 rwhp.
Good luck with your goal.

Your car was a beast .my friends argued with me saying it was an auto lol

I know I have more then enough power . My drag radials will most likely be my enemy lol
But I don't want to run skinnies on the street this is why I'm running the current setup is have
I agree and know full slicks would be a lot easier . I guess it would help if my track would be MIR lol

Plan is when I get the sorted out .is to hit the track at 700 WHP isn and get a really good 60ft
And go from there

Currently fighting some issues on the dyno so long way from racing lol

Thanks for all the great info and feedback guys
