Very nice build. Are you still running the stock in tank regulator? (not sure if pre 03s are the same as the later)

thanks

Good build, I have twins and usually hitting 1000-1100 only in 3rd, 4th, 5th and I'll hit 183, but going to VA this weekend and if the rain holds off, shooting for 185+. The biggest problem you'll have is spinning. youll have 1000hp all the time, and thats no fun in 1st/2nd/3rd if it isn't hooking Mine set on boost leash will be roughly 750/850/1000/1100 thru my timed progression. Just added a WOT No lift installed too so we will see how it goes...praying for no rain.

Hope to see you in GA in the fall! I have a silver C5Z, I'll be on the lookout for the yellow car.

I've been watching your car for some time and it's the reason I'm always broke lol. Good luck in VA, let us know what you end up running. I'll for sure catch up with you at the GA event

Thanks, I still have a few things to order: new hood insulator, mgw shifter, front tires other than that it's done....for now

We should have some numbers today Anyone want to take a guess at what it will make?

Does the 2200SL use the quieter helical-cut gears like the 2000?

I am not sure on the differences on the two. To me the blower itself is quit.

Close, 835wrhp and about 720tq on 14lbs of boost. Once the motor is done with the break in period we will be putting it back on the dyno and upping the boost to hit the 1000rwhp+ mark.

Thanks! We will be running it this weekend in at the WannagoFast event in Ga and once we get back we are doing a gear swap and upping the boost, this should put me in the hp and mph I want to run in the September event.

Thanks! I'll most likely be going to a 2.93 gear. I am not really sure as of right now.

Here are a few more pics. I'll have more this weekend.

Great looking ride.
For half mile I'd keep the 3.42 or maybe only 3.15 specially with TR6060 2.93 is way too much in my opinion unless you're thinking about going full mile.

I'm not certain on what gear we are planning on going with at this point. My choices as of right now are 3.15, 3.08 (if rpm can get them) or a 2.93. A 3.15 gear would get me to mid 180's but I do not think I would be able to hit the 190 mark. I'm thinking a 3.08 would be my best choice for obtaining my goal.

I attended the WannaGoFast event this past weekend and had a blast! With only 200 miles on the build the car performed great. My first pass Sunday was a 166.05 which broke my old pb of 161.98. My second pass was 167.0379mph and on the last pass we ran a 165. The last pass would of been a 168-169 pass but the trans locked us out of third gear

I believe that the car could of went 170mph but I am happy with the results considering the car was finished last thursday and still needs some work. Here a a few pictures from the event. I have a few video's that I'll try and upload later.

The silver f-body ran a 158

The Yellow C6 GrandSport ran 146.48, the red C6 with bogarts ran a 170 Saturday, The other red C6 ran 165 and the Silver C6Z ran several 191 passes. All these cars were built by LSXperts

Congrats, I've run a few half mile events with VERY similar #s to you, 830s, and have gone 170MPH give or take...
