Default Went back to the dyno today

After installing meth and a smaller pulley. I decided it was time to re-dyno. Had to stop doing pulls when the car started to run lean cause the fuel pump wasn't big enough to support any more power. Ended up with 646 rwhp and 500 rwtq on 9lbs. Not bad going from a 4.0 to a 3.7 pulley and a alky control setup.

Pretty solid numbers! Are you on stock balancer or aftermarket OD balancer? What bracket?

I'm sure you are happy with it but you could drop on down to a 3.4 and let it eat. Might slip tho....Secondary drive/ flip drive would be a nice option or swap out to a D1 with current pulley

A few folks have made 700+ on a P1SC-1

Lol, I'm happy, but the need for more power is an addicting thing! I will probably upgrade to a D1 later down the road. For the time being I need to find either a dual fuel pump system or get a single walbro 340 pump to meet the fuel demands. May consider pullying down once I do that. Would love to be in the 700 rwhp range.

I support 715 rwhp with LPE 255 pump, Boost a pump, Racetronix harness, and 50/50 meth (mainly for safety). I do have 1,000cc injectors but they are a bit overkill for 700rwhp. 60-80 should be sufficient (non E85)

I have a walbro 255, racetronix hot wire and 80lb SD injectors. Running 100% meth. Tuner recommended either a dual walbro 340 or single 340. If I do it, I'm probably going to just do the twins and get it over with. Having a backup pump would be nice. I probably could have squeezed some more power out, but he didn't feel comfortable doing so.

Hmm did your fuel pressure drop much? You should be pretty solid. Mine doesn't drop past 54. You could run a return line and a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator which would give you a little more room.

What I will personally do next is basically keep the 255 in tank, remove BAP, Add Bosch 044 pump in line to run off the hob switch the BAP got signal from, then finally add a return line and boost referenced regulator. I might have missed something but I'm pretty sure that's it.

I've seen that set up support 1000hp on 93 plus meth with the right injectors.

If you plan to keep eventually adding more (because its addicting) you should plan for a bigger your fuel with lots of room to go. Otherwise you do small upgrades 2,3,4 times when you could go with a big system now and do it 1 time. You will probably come out cheaper that way in once you add up all the parts and labor for so many changes.

Nice numbers. I talked to Charles yesterday so I guess your car was one of the cars he tuned yesterday. I'm about to put a v3 si on my 408 and let him tune it with meth on low boost. Do you know what your duty cycle was on the 80# injectors at the 646rwhp? Trying to make a decision on injectors right now.

Charles is good at what he does.

You've come a long way since we met and you were cam only...

Duty cycle should be 80%ish or less is my guess especially with 100% meth.

My friend makes 630 on 60lb injectors with meth but they are pretty much maxed out.

Yeah, I'll probably just do twins and be done with it.

Thanks! Yeah, I did dyno yesterday. I don't know what the duty cycle was. That will be a nice combo when you get done. I hope to not have to change out my injectors anytime soon. Hopefully they will support a little more.
