Default Single Turbo LS1 Cam Question

I just received my Hinson single turbo setup and I will be running it will a PTE 7175, .96 hot side, alky control, and an ECS stage 1 fuel system. My question is will the Comp 224/228 112 LSA cam that I have restrict my potential? I am more than willing to swap to a more turbo oriented cam while I have everything taken apart but if the cam in there now will not negatively impact my build then I am inclined to leave it in there until I do a forged block in about a year.

Any insight is much appreciated.

It's only got ~2 degrees of overlap. Very turbo friendly. I don't see any reason to change it.

Im also gonna be running 317 heads for the time being with btr dual springs, any recommended parts to add while I have them out?

The goal for now is a max effort stock shortblock until its gives out or I put together enough for an iron 408

Good pushrods wouldn't hurt. BTR 3/8" .080" wall in whatever length gives you .060".080" preload (1 3/4 turns to 2 turns). And maybe the new Straub rocker arm trunion bushings from CO Speed.

Forgot to mention I already have the comp trunion kit and Ill definitely add the pushrods to the list as soon as I install the heads and check the length.

Should be fine, whats you setup?

I ran a 227/227 630/598 115+5, loved it.

As of now its:
Stock LS1 bottom end, new 317 heads, BTR .660 dual springs, comp trunion kit, ls2 trays and ls7 lifters, arp head bolts, hinson single turbo kit, precision 7175 cea, ecs stage 1 fuel system, alkycontrol kit, and I am undecided on injectors at this point and waiting to get stuff put together before I order pushrods. Thinking about 80# injectors but I don't plan to run more than 13-14# for now so I'm not sure if they will be overkill or not.

interesting, I run the same setup basically, but on E85 and a PT6775, shoot me a PM, if you need tips, hinson kits are few and few inbetween

How much power did you make with the 6775? I wish I could run E85 but I only have one pump within 60 miles that sells it.
