Default Building secondary fuel system.

Looking for some advice on building a secondary fuel system. I searched the forums and really didn't find any conclusive posts. I have a late 03 with the FFS fuel system. I currently have a C6z fuel pump in tank and meth. Looking to pulley down and make about 700 hopefully. I'm looking to build a system like the A&A kit. I would just probably buy a kit but I want to use all black lines and fittings.

My Current plan is to run a Bosch 044 feed from bulk head fittings in the tank with a -8 feed plumbed in at the hard line in the engine bay and -6 return off the fuel rail service port thru a regulator to the tank.

Anyone have any better suggestions or if some one has done a similar set up, have a parts list of what they used fitting wise. Pictures would be awesome too.

I've been laying out on paper pretty much the same setup (although I have the older style 01 fuel tanks). 255 or 340 in tank in the stock housing, and do a bulk head in the back bottom of the tank to a bosch 044 pump, then pretty much the exact same as you from then on out.

When you send your return back to the tank, which tank and where are you planning on dumping it into? I thought maybe in the driver side would be to much of a disturbance so in the top of the pass. side tank?

I don't know why I typed Bosch 255. I meant 044 externally, I edited the orginal post. I plan on running the return to the drivers tank as of right now.

I did a Homemade setup similar to the A&A, tapped the tank. -10 from bulkhead to filter, -10 to pump, -8 to checkvalve.

Bosch 044, stock intank, Teed into the factory fuel rail. I modded the rail to make it return -6 to the regulator, don't know what it did power wise, but my car went 104 in the 1/8 and 138 in the 1/4, it's street tuned but mathematically, should be around there and that's with a dry shot and ID850s.

got some pics here, this link should work

I have the Bosch pump and some fittings that came with my A&A kit. If your interested I can round the parts up and take some pics.

Invest in PTFE hose and fittings. Some guys don't care, but I don't want to smell fumes.

ECS fuel adapter ring. Your choice of -6,-8 or -10 feed and -6 or -8 return fitting. Bolt in --No drilling.

I tried to get one, went back and forth with them "checking with their engineer" of when they were going to build more ( I believe I needed the larger bolt pattern style), and when I asked for a guarantee that it wouldn't be more than a month after I paid, they stopped responding to me.

Maybe they knew my car was a turd and didn't want their parts on it

I'm surprised no one else makes a similar product.

That would have been me they were checking with although I dont recall this I will still apologize for the error. We are all human unfortunately. If you still want the part send me an email and I will send a sketch of the both patterns so you can tell them(ecs) for certain which you need. One can go out this week for sure. Also make sure you know which fittings you would like or if you want the return plugged.

thank you

Darn shame. I really would have liked one, unfortunately I already installed a bulkhead.

Always thought they were a slick product, just a bummer there was a disconnect between front of house and you. Either way, I appreciate you reaching out.

RpeterK could probably tell you better than I could. It was a bit over 100$, under 200$. Not a bad deal, when you consider the cost of two bulkhead fittings.

Here is my setup. We are using a ECS Bulk Head $150 and holley twin pumps. I believe its an -8 feed and a -6 return I can't remember. All black hoses and fittings.

When i was at 700rwhp we ran the tank pump and one holley pump and had FIC 850cc injectors and never had any issues.
