Default Kinda huge oil consumption ...Sad day.

Well well well finally had time to do some testing with my car.Got 2 main probleme so i guess ill start 2 thread

The bad news:
-With and empty catch can ,after 4 final dyno run and less than 300 street miles(with some wot part) my catch can got 1/2 quart (500ml) of oil in it...
-The car shoot a lot of black particule soot or maybe oil from the exhaust pipe at idle, i can see all the spot on my garage floor.

Engine was originally built for N/A but did ended putting a v3si on it.Engine is less than 8000miles total and maybe less than 2000miles with blower on it. Did 4 dyno session total and again less than 300miles on it.

Could it be ring related ???
Could i just take the engine out( 4th time) and have it re-ring for blower specification ???

Other suggestion ???

Thanks
Eric

Wow that sucks. Do a compression and leak down test first.

Will try to get the tools to do those test.

For the other and Bob in private:
-Engine is less than 8000miles( 6000miles n/a and 2000miles blower)
-I had the blower on for less than 2000 miles.
-The car didnt even see boost for the first 1000 miles since i was doing my break in on my new tr6060.
-After we did a small dyno session but really didnt like my big n/a cam(to much overlap and agressive lobe type).
-I put a new cam in and did another dyno session.
-I stop it because my last catch can setup wasnt big enough to prevent crankcase pressure build.
-Now with the correct cam and correct can setup(E2X ULTRA) i did 2 full dyno session. One blower only and the other one with small shot of meth.
-Tune is 11.0 AFR , 16 degree timing

Thats it , now less than 300 miles later oils is filling my catch like crazy.

Hi,
Sorry for you
Have you check your valve seals first ?
(easy to check if they are correctly put and with correct aspect)
I have see them failed in 2 builds... all of them bought from different respectable shop, vitton blue, with full cam kit... professionnaly installed... Found parts of all of them in oïl pan :-(
Never understood why they failed !
Now, i buy basic seal (brown and black)

If you have no problem with the NA cam, it's perhaps a problem with the FI cam (too much for the springs ??? valve seals eat by spring ???)

what build have you ?
CI ?
CR ?
Fuel ? (91 + Meth ?) How much meth if it's help meth spécialist !?
SC Psi ?
First and second cam spec ?
Ring type (low trension ?) N/A spec for the spacing (give the meseaure)
N/A HP ?
FI HP ?
Wih NORMAL, Cr, fuel, RING PACK, and -10 psi, no need blower ring specification
Dont know about meth
