what year z is it?... 700 is still a steal for everything that you got since you have everything else you need to do the swap besides the trans and conversion mounts from rkt56 and you can sell the rest off

It was a 2007, wrecked in the front end.

Funny thing is I wasnt even looking for one. I stumbled across it looking at C6Z prices. I knew it needed offset mounts and other things but it was to good to pass up. Ill just gather the rest of the parts up piece by piece.

that trans will work obviously but is still a t56, personally I would hold out for an 08 and up 6060 unless you are trying to get it together quick

Well I left this thread open on the computer and my wife saw it. She handed me 800 bucks and told me I better go get that tranny. I have an awesome wife. Cant pass this up either so Im heading out to get it. Now this 2007 T56 will fit with no issues in my 04?

I would think the T56 wouldn't be an issue, but I don't know. Better to call someone who does driveline work on these cars for a living.

I do know that you will want to use the C5 torque tube and shifter linkage.

Well, since Bigbird bumped this up...

Yes, the C6Z T56 will bolt directly to the C5 Torque tube.

So, to the OP, you got a smoking deal!

My buddy Andrew has the C6Z T56/Z diff in his 03Z.
