Default oil return and pcv questions

I recently picked up a turbo 97 project. I've fixed a lot of issues and these are the two I'm working on now before putting the bigger turbo on and getting a tune

The scavenge pump feeds the oil into the front fitting on my passenger valve cover, is that an OK way to do that. I don't think I've ever seen that before, just want to make sure it's not going to cause issues

I've read tons of posts on the open/closed/atmosphere pcv and I think I found what I need.

The part that I don't understand is that when the car is in boost, I will be feeding oily vapor right in front of the turbo. Is there a way around this without running a 2nd baffled catch can

You could put a well-baffled breather in your oil fill hole, and eliminate the line going to the air filter.
