Default Nitrous

Looking for cheap power and for under a grand nos is the best way, maybe a 100 shot. This is on a stock ls1 and i dont care if i blow it up i have a forged boost ready 5.3 ready to throw in with a pair of s366. What is the best kit for these c5's. Should i go with a wet or dry system? Im new to nitrous so please bare with me. Can you guys explain the difference between wet system and a dry system.

Wet single fogger or plate kit will work great for your goals.

this idea of yours sounds debatable, but you should probably go wet, since it doesn't sound like fueling in your go fast and blow up budget.
brands is minor, pick a plate or nozzle you like. I had good success running a NOS plate dry personally. but the others work too.

In my humble opinion, the easiest way to install nitrous on a stock engine is with a nozzle installed in the intake tube and a wet system. Pull fuel off the rail. A couple basic safety features and some sort of controller.

My personal preference is Nitrous Outlet, but most any basic starter kit will work. You will need something that can read the throttle position - the blue wire on the TPS.

Give Matt a call at Nitrius Outlet and he can set you up with exactly what you need.

Good luck!

You'll want a wet kit.

We have a proton kit that works very well at a great price. Or you can do a plate kit.

Why not go wet kit and hit it with a 150 shot and not worry about maxing out injectors ????

I use the Nitrous Express Proton Kit. (Wet kit) Works great and easy to install. I put the fogger in the intake tube. Running a 100 shot now for over a year no issues on my stock motor. ( knock on wood)

Nitrous Express would be my pick.... But then again, I am partial.
