I was hoping you'd show up on Saturday. I broke the left output shaft in the second qualifier. We tore the diff apart and Rodney sent Jeremy to the shop to get a replacement. We had it back together in time to make the final qualifier.

Then, on Sunday, I screwed up in both classes and lost first round...ugh...

It was nice to see you as well. It's been way too long.

I'm gonna really try to make it this year. Gonna depend on when I get my medical separation severance check from the Army. Gonna need it to pay for the trip and the trailer lol.

I ended up catching an earlier flight on Saturday so I never made it back to the track, track woes it sounds like, been there done that! The guys at RPM are awesome though, they always come threw in the pinch. They did the same for Dave once too when he granaded his rear.

Sorry to hear you went out first round, but it happens to everyone sooner or later.

Maybe next year Robert, my car should be back on track by then, engine should be done in a month or two. I only went to the LSX shootout because I was tuning at the Indy Speedway for Bloomington Gold which is only a few miles down the road, so I went after the show.

I'm a racer, not a spectator! It bores me to watch honestly.

From a five year hibernation!

Spent the last two years making a whole new rear cradle, control arms, and notched the frame so the car will sit level, 3" off the ground with the 9" rear. Or I can just lower the coil over to another mounting position for higher ground clearance during street use pretty quickly.
The trans or diff can be removed in about 20 minutes without taking a tire off, or more importantly, effecting the alignment. also as the car squats it won't camber the tire like the factory set up does.

Should help with picking up groceries.

Well, we all know loading groceries changes the camber dramatically and makes the car handle like crapola. That's why I make sure I go grocery shopping after racing, not before.

Tubing and Heim joints are cheap, coming up with the idea is priceless.
