Trading a V-7 YSi (HEAD UNIT) for V3
This post might be pre-mature, but I am testing waters to see if anyone would be interested in trading a V7 YSi for a V3 A&A (Just the head unit) + cash on your end.
I just purchased a full v-7 YSi kit from a forum member, but I am starting to realize that for the power I am looking to make (around 550-600) that the V7 won't be to good of a power band that I am looking for.
I think the V3 will be a good option to run around 10-12lbs of boost on my stock bottom end ls1.
Let me know what you guys think!

Having used a V7 in the 600hp range when I first started with one 13 years ago....just use it. You will not be disappointed, and it will give you room to grow in the future.

Another vote for keeping it. You'll regret it later if you make this move. Wish I would have purchased a YSI at first.

Thank you all for the input! I am still debating but I think I might want to hold on to the YSi. What pulley, restrictor plate, or whatever would I need to run 10-12lbs on the YSi for it not to be too sluggish?
