Thanks bud.
After speaking with Bret yesterday it looks like I will be sitting at 9.8:1. It will make the tuning window a little tighter but my other shelf piston option was 8.5:1 and we felt that would be a bit too lazy on the street.

ISIS SUCKS FAT CHOAD
Small update. I am working with Bret and Mike to get my LS2 built for some real power. So far it is looking like this:
Wiseco Pistons
GFX Rings
K1 Rods
Tool Steel Wrist Pins
All new bearings
LS9 Headgaskets
AFR 205 Heads
8019 Springs
BTR Spec'd Cam
Elite Chain Drive
ARP2000 Head Studs and Main Studs
LS4 Oil Pump
LS3 C6 Oil pan
I'll take a few pics of the torn down LS2 but it looks like it is in decent shape.

Hey Mitch, thanks for allowing me to be a part of this one. Your pistons, pins and rods showed up at my door yesterday. When I get back to Houston, I'll check the housing bores on the rods and the pin fitment and open the piston and Rod pin bores up as needed. I'll be going up to Bret's the following weekend and I'll get the rest of your stuff (heads Ect) from him directly.

looks amazing. someday i will be able to afford a build by bret. I am always intrigued with Bret's build. They are always professional and top notch. I'm just too poor to afford his work Especially being in VA haha.

Ordered an RXT today and made a little bit more progress while I was helping a buddy put a water pump on his Ram 2500.
Picked up a sheet of aluminum to see if I could come up with any heat shielding where my downpipe runs over all my wire harnesses. Used some cardboard and packing tape to get my shape and traced it onto my sheet then cut this out and added some holes to mount my map sensor. I'm still going to paint it and find something better than zip ties to hold the map.
Also mounted my ECS clutch pedal stop to see if it helps remove some of the excess travel. Can't adjust it until the motor is back in.

Thanks Bret. When I get around to redoing the fuel system I will be going with your setup, just gotta get everything else buttoned up first.

Here's the question of the day. Do I go with a 4 post style lift in my garage and deal with the installation and loss of space or do I just get a kwik lift?
