Finally got around to tapping the LS6 manifold MAP sensor port since the clip had broken off long ago and I was tired of using zip ties and sealant to hold it in place.

Used a 1/4" NPT tap WITHOUT DRILLING, the hole is just right for the 1/4" NPT tap, and then put some sealant on a 1/4" NPT x 1/4" barb fitting from fastenal and threaded it in.

If anyone is interested the barbs came in a 5 pack so I have 4 left I'll get rid of for $1 each plus the cost of postage.

My angle grinder is MIA but I managed to clearance the passenger motor mount pedestal for the passenger side boss that is in the way using a sawzall and die grinder. It's not pretty but it fits now; I ended up having to trim more than expected as it hit the webbing above the boss and the boss itself. Also, got my starter mounted, knock sensors installed and all my LS1 sensors are swapped over. Ended up ordering a new McLeod steel flywheel because the dowels on my Monster flywheel are in the wrong positions and I thought about the fact that it had been resurfaced so I would probably have to shim the slave and what not so I decided I'd rather just get the McLeod. That comes in Monday and then I drop her in.

Look at that! Glad she arrived safe and sound! Did you plumb your fitting into your oil pan yet?

Mounted the new flywheel, RXT and then dropped her in. It took some fighting to get it to line up without any extra hands but shes back in. Time to tow her to my house and get started with the reinstall.

Finally got her back home and started putting everything back in. Really just need to order my lines and fittings to make the fuel/vacuum lines and she is ready for a tune.

My buddy and I finished up the vacuum block. It is meant to fit right on the firewall above the fuel feed and evap hoses. It came out great and I am thinking about producing some more of these. It has 3x 1/8 NPT ports on the top and 3x on the bottom, 1x 3/8" NPT port on each end and 4 countersunk mounting holes.

Thanks man! I'm a bit torn between getting it anodized or just clear coating the blasted aluminum.

Got my crossover and return fuel lines complete, still need to make the line going from external pump to filter, filter to Y block and Y block to both rails. All Redhorse -235 hose and swivel seal fittings; they are some of the best fittings I've ever used.

Looking good.

I run the Redhorse stuff as well. Was turned on to them by Bret.. Nice stuff for sure, and reasonably priced.

Bret pointed me in their direction as well. My wife found my very detailed list of what lines/fittings I would need and she ordered all of it as a surprise because she knows I've missed driving the vette.

Fuel lines are done. Broke my plastic vise jaws while putting my catch can lines together so I'm waiting for that to finish my oil feed line, wastegate-> ebcs line and catch can lines. Other than that the car is together and I'm just going through and torquing every fastener I can think of.

Got my vacuum block mounted and mocked up the lines to my BOV and FPR. I ordered a weatherpack hobbs switch to mount to a 90* elbow on the top left port. I found a local anodizer who is going to take care of the vacuum block, the billet motor mounts I made and a few other odds and ends.

Anybody have issues with fuel transfer from passeneger to drivers tank with a boost/vac reference FPR? Should I plumb it to a boost only source to avoid issues?

Never had any issues with fuel transfer on my car running a boost referenced FPR.

The tanks have their own jet siphon pump no?

It depends what your fuel pressure is set at, from my experience the jet pump system would not transfer fuel under 55psi.
